Learn To Reset Your Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler

Follow this simple guide to learn how to reset your Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler with ease

If your Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler has unexpectedly stopped working or is showing a flashing blue light, a quick reset could be just what it needs to start working again. This guide will take you step-by-step through the reset process, helping you get your heat and hot water back on quickly and safely.

What Usually Causes Your Worcester Bosch Greenstar Boiler to Need a Reset

Knowing why your boiler needs resetting can help you avoid repeated issues. Common causes include low water pressure, frozen condensate pipes in cold weather, blocked air vents, or thermostat problems. Power outages and interruptions to your gas supply can also cause your boiler to go into fault mode.

While a simple reset of your Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler often fixes the problem, persistent errors might point to a more serious issue like a faulty sensor, diverter valve, or heat exchanger. Keep an eye out for warning codes or flashing lights on the display panel—they can give you helpful clues about what’s wrong. If your boiler needs resetting often, it’s a sign that professional help is needed. Regular maintenance and annual servicing can catch small problems before they turn into expensive repairs.

Don’t ignore repeated faults—reach out to a qualified engineer to keep your heating system running safely and efficiently.
